Hi Folks
I have acquired an ancient Anilam wizzard 112 DRO, which looks like this

http://www.practicalmachinist.com/vb/general/need-manual-anilam-wizard-dro-205940/

Like the person who posted that picture originally, I need a manual, and the web suggests I am not going to find one. Specifically, I need a schematic for the power supply (which has blown up) or failing that if anyone has one and is prepared to measure 3 or 4 voltages coming off the PSU and onto the logic boards, I would be very grateful. The ac voltages of the three secondary transformer taps would also be very helpful.

cheers
Mark

Claims to be the manual for the Anilam Wizzard £9.95. Never bought anything from them so don't know what the quality is like.

Just bought a manual for the Dormer 108 drill grinder from them they are quick to take your money but once they have there is no download link. The phone goes to the fax. I have e-mailed them about it. Could be a problem on the website could be fraudulent we will see.

Thanks Richard. 'Wizard' was a name Anilam used on a long range of DROs - mine seems to be one of the first. Well, let us know how you get on with that firm. Meanwhile I have sussed that the logic boards need -12v, +5v and +6v (and I know where!) so I can fudge that with a lab power supply and see if it lights up / what the current consumption is. I guess I might be able to make a power supply after that. Since there's no info around on these, I'll post back here on it.

Years ago where I work they bought a floor mill with Anilam dro's. After several service calls they junked them. May not be worth fixing. They weren't all that accurate when they did work.

I rang them. He apologised and sent me a link to MyAirBridge which downloaded just fine. The manual is a good clean scan of the original and cheaper than anywhere else I have found on the web. So it would seem they are worth dealing with if they have the manuals you need.
