    Little demon

Yes. They work fine for a 4 cylinder engine.

    Little demon

Just about anything will work if it triggered by a hall sensor. Alan Howell posted recently about a new ignition system he's coming out with. He also has the TIM-6 that can be used. Dave Sage has released drawings and the circuit board layout for hall sensor capabile system. Some folks are using...

    2024 Indiana model engine show

Are you going to get some fliers out to dick in Detroit so we can get them posted in all the tool stores like harbor freight and KBC? Also used to pass them out at car shows and swap meets. Hotrodders love this kind of stuff.

    1/3 Scale Ford 289 Hi-Po

If you do that Dave, see if you can use the miniature coils Roy used to use. The physical size is great if trying to hide it and the little buggers will jump a half inch gap.

    Building Whittle V8

I was speaking to the interchangeability of the 2. One could be used in place of the other as they are only a few thousands apart. I miss took the intention of the thread change and assumed it was to change from glow to plug. My apologies.

    Building Whittle V8

3/16-40 is the same as #10-40 and is a standard size. They are available by rimfire. Should be no issues.

    COX TWIN 049x2

That was called the Hex-2 and the Hex-4. They started out using hex bar as a crank case. Then a crankcase was cast months later. I even made one with my own crankcase later named the Huck-4 by the person who designed the engine.

    Whittle V8

Yes roy is retired. He is building some new cdi's here and there but that's about it.

    Whittle V8

Can't remember. I think the 8's are .015 and the 6's are .012. Use roy sholls standard cdi setup.

    Whittle V8

There are many people running plugs smaller than 1/4 inch. I can't even count how many are running #10-40 plugs. Anybody who has built a little demon is running #8-40 through a distributor. I have sold more than a few #6-56 plugs and have received links to videos of engines running on them. They...

Bob Shores Model Engine Ignition Book

I meant the plans and patterns so they can keep the castings available not the physical engines. Paul Knapp told me he had them and was selling castings. He also was hoping to get the patterns for Peewee and the Pacifier to get them all back together. Don't think that has happened.

    cylinder compression question

Don't over think it. You have bounce back so you have compression. Once the engine has a few hours on it it will only get better.

    FAME

FAME was one of the first groups I found on the web. Used to get a ton of information when I started building. David Kerzel was administrator. I was on the web site just last year so it has only recently disappeared. I think it demise was a change in David's interests and a cumbersome site. You...

Bob Shores Model Engine Ignition Book

Here's what I know. This information comes from conversations with Dirk Tollanaar and Paul Knapp. When Bob passed away Margaret kept the book and all the engines that were "finished". The engine that weren't were given to Dirk Tollanaar. So the patterns for the Peewee V4 and the Pacifier V4 as...
