With the euphoria gone after the completion of Elmer's #44, its time to start another build. Drat, I hate the morning after!
Pick an engine.. any engine... I took a quick look at the files on Elmer's Yahoo group 1, 2, 3, 4, and the V3R caught my eye. Since I just finished a two cylinder, this being a three cylinder seems to be a logical choice. After reading the first paragraph I was hooked, "Jason Smith in Hilliard, Ohio sent in the sketches for this three-cylinder engine." A fellow Ohioan! "Its a good showoff conversation piece to run on compressed air". I got compressed air! Showoff.., no comment! The size of this engine is in line with previous engines I have built, but..."It is really a tiny, compact engine and some of the parts are quite small". Not a problem! I can bump up the scale of most of the parts by say... 50%! This direction will add a little bit more challenge, and allow me to satisfy my uncontrollable tendency to alter perfectly good engine plans! :big:
Has any one built the V3R? Would you like to see the V3R built? Any posts/comment's would be appreciated. I,m "primed" up, and ready for he inspirational "pump."
