    Packnut for Elmers #29

    In the plans for Elmers #29 there are 2 packnuts 1 for the cylinder and 1 for the steam chest. The nuts are to be threaded with 3/16-40. In searching for a supplier I found 3/16-40 is also used for pipe thread. I would think the plan is calling for a regular straight thread for the packing nut...
