    Ford 300 Inline Six

I have been following this build from the beginning since I do love the old 300 Fords. As it happens I have a complete 300 EFI motor and drive train sitting next to me. The typical ring gear count would be 164 tooth with a 9 tooth starter pinion giving a ratio of 18.2 to 1.

    Stash of magazines available

Bob, I live in Harrison Arkansas and regularly drive to Illinois over the weekends. If you are interested, I would have no problem picking them up. In fact I will be making another trip there over the weekend of the 18th/19th. I would be driving through on the 17th.

Grizzly 4 3/4” Power Rotary table c/w DRO

Mine is back up and running again. Picked up a few extra A4989 controller IC's just in case since the shipping from China was going to be the same. Now it is time to learn the control functions. Darren M.

Grizzly 4 3/4” Power Rotary table c/w DRO

Time for an update on my rotary table. I have traced the problem to a failed motor controller IC, Alegro Micro Systems A4989. It would appear the cause is related to the construction of the board (see previous report about the construction) These are not expensive (couple of $$) but so far it...

Grizzly 4 3/4” Power Rotary table c/w DRO

To be fair, mine was acquired at the September tent sale for a very reasonable price (no power up) I had to replace the low voltage regulator on the main circuit board (8 pin dip, cost $2.87) So now it powers up but no operation of the stepper motor and when reset is pressed it does not reset...

Grizzly 4 3/4” Power Rotary table c/w DRO

It would be nice if some one would do a tutorial video on how to use it. The manual leaves a lot to be desired and in my case pretty much useless. I picked up one at the tent sale with a bad power supply regulator. Now that it is repaired I am having some issues getting it to operate.

This winter's project. A transmission for the 302 engine

I spent a good part of this weekend reading and I might add drooling over this thread. My main source of income for the last 30+ years is in the transportation field as a diagnostician and mechanic. Today I showed a few of my fellow technicians the last pictures of the completed transmission...

    Tiny I.C. Engine

I just ran across this thread today and had to go back to the very beginning. I have spent most of the day reading, watching videos and looking at pictures. I  to those who have built it an made so many custom mods to suite their own tastes. I am especially thankfull to Arv for coming up...

    Hello from central Illinois

Thanks for the welcome guys! Bill strangely enough it was your Briggs build that brought me here. I have had in my mind for several years an idea to build a fully functional miniature of my CASE 130 garden tractor. It was after 1 of many discussions about the Kohler engine that a friend sent me...

    Hello from central Illinois

I found this place quite by accident in a round about way and after reading a few posts I had to join. Since joining I have spent my time lurking and reading the archives in depth. I can say there are way too many ideas in my head now just pertaining to mods on my equipment and many more on...
