Thanks for reply. I have read some of the small diesels were made new with a tapered bore. I also understand that back in the day when these were made the piston and liner would have been a matched pair.

Almost done. Inspired by LS Loc mini traction engine, following lines of Mamod Te1. Functional steering and hinged/opening smoke-box door. Cheers

Over due for a clean. Verticle loosely based on Tubal Cains Polly and using some parts from a wrecked Mamod TE1a. Little engine from internet plans. 6 inch RC pop pop. All run very good. Cheers
