Thanks for the tip Nick!. Got the piston and the valve cut, so hardest part is done. Whew. On the valve, i took 2 cuts with the parting tool to set the depth so i only had to cut one direction then after both sections were cut put the parting tool back in and just skimmed the surface to clean it...
