    something

An easy way is to press the 'Prt Sc' button at the time you want, even as a video plays. Then open 'Paint', paste it in there and crop as needed then save in the chosen format. Easy.

    Aluminium Conversion

Not much of a casting project just trying to save a bit of room and do a bit of cleaning. I have been collecting anything and everything ally to be used at some later date to start casting some engines and other things. So over the past couple of days I have melted most of my stock pile down...

gantry crane mobile homemade built yourself

gantry crane mobile homemade built yourself

Just something I designed and yet to build. Has the capability to adjust height from 2 meters to just over 3 meters. The top beam is clamped in so you can either adjust width or put a bigger beam in if needed. Will build this one day.

However these days they simply make just about all mills capable of plunging into the job. The first picture provided...

    Building Kozo's New Shay locomotive

A picture is worth a thousand words, I hope. Not all that hard and you only need clearance for the OD as you can see. Just a bit of quarter inch tool steel. Then whilst it is still setup, if the lathe can run backwards, you can also prep turn the flange using the same tool at the back. If the...

    Building Kozo's New Shay locomotive

May be a little late now but how would this be for an idea. If you are going to use a solid to start with, how about machining a recess where the spokes are to go and leave a thin piece on the back. Silversolder or what ever you want to the spokes ( BLUE ) and then put the wheel back in the...
