    I just bought one myself. I also have never built one from a casting. Working on a mechanics kit now. Not sure when I'll start the Nanzy.

    I'm new here and to the model world. I haven't used machine shop equipment since high school. I purchased a completed engine and a mechanic's kit which is next on my list. But I have a question, has anyone built an engine from junk?

    Black Hills events are pretty much all published. But a trip to Rochford to eat at the old Moonshine Gulch Saloon. Just a cool old place. Deadwood is fun. A mine tour there or in Keystone is fun.     Hello, within the Last year getting into the model hobby. I have a Paul Breisch model and going to start a Claire Fetters? Spelling not sure, next. Love the engine hobby, but the full size engines are getting heavy.
