Hi all , the plans for the steam tractor boiler calls for 3 /16" od x 22 gauge copper pipe ,but what l can get hold of is 3 3/16" od x 26 gauge pipe ,will that be ok to use ,it will blow of at 30 psi so am thinking it will be ok ,but better ask you experts before l order it...

Hi all ,have been plodding along with rudys steam tractor,but when l got to doing the horn plates l find the 1/32" plate he used is just to thin,did others on here find that ,so l have used 3mm plate and will adjust the plans to suit ,l can under stand using the thin sheet for the fire box...

Hi all been away a while now,but am back with you great people,well l was not up to doing a lot ,l was thinking what to do after doing rudys steam tractor,and think l will have a go at the kerzel engine ,from what l read this calls for 32dp gears ,owing to the fact l geared myselve up with 48dp...

I will have the need soon to mill some small parts in alloy an brass , but my milling machine is to big to mill small parts , so was thinking of using a dremal type tool mounted over a small lathe with the tool post removed and a small machine vice fitted ,any thinking if this would work ok please.
