My third and current build is Jan Ridders Sabine engine. I've finished most of the carb and con rod and have started the cylinder. I'll be after some advice on the ignition circuit so look out.

This was engine number two. Based upon a 1910 twin solenoid engine by Charles Avery. I built this from some patent drawings and photos. The build was published in the Mode Engineer last year. It runs ok, but perhaps it would benefit from some lower impedance coils. Perhaps a job for another day.

This was my first engine, completed about a year ago. It runs well of compressed air, and the steam cleaner!
