Nemett Lynx 15 cc 4 Stroke I/C Petrol Engine

I've got a good start on the engine. The front nose is finished, the air cooled cylinder is finished, the cylinder liner is finish. I made a crankcase, but broke off a tap in one hole and a drill bit in another, and wasn't able to them out easily, so I'm re-making the crank case. I'm doing...

Nemett Lynx 15 cc 4 Stroke I/C Petrol Engine

I also bought the Model Engineering magazine a few months ago. I have started the engine. So far I've built the Cylinder sleeve, the air cooled cylinder and have started the crank case. My local supplier didn't have 2 1/2" square stock so I bought some 3" square and have whittled it down to...

    ER32 Collet Chuck Problem

I didn't realize that you need to insert the collet into the nut first. I tried it and it works great. I'm inserting a MT5 to MT3 adapter, the the MT3 Collet chuck. I'm reading about .0002 run out on the gauge pin. Good enough for the girls that I go out with. ha ha Thanks everybody.

    Bought the Micromark

I also have one, I've had it about a year now. I got the A2Z QC tool post. but if I had it to do over I would buy LMS's shortened compound slide and use a AXA style. I've also taken tbe chip guard off, I plan to put it back on, but with some spacers that will not allow it to interfere with the...

    Tool chest materials

This box was for my son. He doesn't know Machinery's Handbook from Adam. Actually, I thought about this when I was designing my first toolbox. I broke from Gerstner's design in this regard as I wanted the space for tools.

    Tool chest materials

There are only a few pleasures in life better than building your own Gerstner style, quarter sawn White Oak took box. I've built several. As far as tools rusting, NOT A PROBLEM. White oak when dried has about 2% moisture content. On top of that you are going to seal it with a oil finish. If...
