    7/8" ID Pipe/tube ?

HI browny289; Thks, Glad to hear you like tools4cheap too. It's good to get reviews from satisfied customers. I just ordered the 7/8" set as I already had the 7/8" arbor. Another reason why this forum is such a great source of info. I have overcome any reservations I had about asking newbie...

    7/8" ID Pipe/tube ?

Thks steamer; Looks like I will get the set from Jeff on ebay and may need to add a couple of extras from MSC. I need to fill about 12" on the length of the arbor. Actually I hadn't thought about the cost of them yet. I was thinking that F&F would be quicker. I learned a long time ago to not...

    7/8" ID Pipe/tube ?

Thks to both of you!! :big: I hadn't thought of using bushings. There is a farm & fleet store in town. If they don't have something, as Steamer suggested I can order them online. Steamer: I have all of the parts for the arbor including the support arm and the end casting with bushings. I will...

Economy hit & miss engine is now complete.

Craig; My Dad has been restoring and running hit & miss engines for a couple of decades and I have helped him get a few running. If I hadn't known it was a model I would have thought it was a real one!!!!! An excellent example. Even the sound of one running was the same! Great job! Gary

Thks for the welcome posts. Tin, your right, the Atlas was not intended to be a lathe but I'm asking it to do double duty since the Dunlap isn't the easiest to use yet. The 3" 4-jaw chuck was a gift from a friend and has one of the jaw screw holes stripped for much of the bottom of the hole. I...

Hi All; A quick post to tell you a little about myself. I found you after doing a search online. I retired back in 08/11 from a 16 yr truck driving career. It was the 4th career after USAF, tire salesman at the now defunct Montgomery Wards, and pc tech at an engineering co. My interest in metal...
