Hello, I retired from the US Navy in 2001 and began working for BNSF Railway as a locomotive electrician. After 13 years of that I became ill and had to seek employment elsewhere.
New job was as maintenance electrician for a major beer brewing company in Houston. Free beer was great but after 6 years of 12 hour shifts, rotating shifts, forced overtime and 4 stays in the hospital in one year, I took my wife's advice and walked away while I still could.
Now I spend my time tinkering with my 31 Ford coupe and trying to learn how to use a little mill that I purchased a few years back. In my opinion, it is much more difficult than electrical work. The dream is to build a Demon V8, doesn't need to run, for a scale mock up of my 31 Ford Coupe.
