Hi

With this type of lubricator am I right in assuming that steam enters and then forces the oil back out the same hole. I'm also assuming that the lubricator screws into a connection in the steam feed pipe.

Hi Rich

The steam enters the lubricator, condenses to water, water sinks to the bottom oil floats up and then runs down the pipe .
correct it screws into a connection in the feed pipe close to cylinder .
