    On my rendition of Arvs Tiny I take a piece of tubing and put a little pressure in the fuel tank to prime the engine if it has been setting for a length of time which is easier than trying to choke it.     Kcmillin You might try one wrap of two or three thou brass shim stock under your o ring to just bring it in contact with the cylinder wall and no more, you do not want to make the o ring drag, also allow a little vertical freedom so pressure on the compression and intake stroke can get behind...

    Hi jpaul Most of the old hit and miss engines did rotate clockwise when viewing the left flywheel, however the Galloway 5hp engine when used on their saw rig turned the opposite way, Don't think the engine really cared, fwiw Jim
