    CME Tools

I'd have to agree with great service from Tools4cheap. Jeff worked out a special price for shipment to Australia and the items arrived within a week. I'll be using them again. Woz

    Parting off in reverse

I noticed a comment in the Thin Parting tool thread about running the lathe in reverse for parting off. Is it as simple as turning the tool upside down in the holder, setting the height and off you go or is there more to it than that? Have I missed something? Woz

Grinding on the Side of the Wheel?

I've been reading this thread with interest. Do the warnings about grinding on the side also apply to those drill sharpening jigs that work that way? Woz (in Oz)

    Height gauge height

    Height gauge height

I'm thinking about buying a digital height gauge. I have the choice of a 150mm (6 inch) at A$129 or a 300mm (12 inch) at A$219. I wonder if I will get enough use out of the extra height to justify the extra $. Any comments on which way to go would be appreciated. Woz
