I am guessing that you are not a fan of Myfordboy? I am curious as to why? I am not trained in the arts that he does. As I said i also don't watch him much, prefer those that speak more. But I am curious as to why you don't like him.
For bending pipe I've always heard of filling with sand capping both ends and bending. I have not used this though on small pipe below about 1 inch myself, so I can't day how it would work although I've no reason to suspect it would not.

Oh nice. Besides trying to build live steam, eventual goal 7.5 inch. I do HO based on South East PA. Reading and Pennsylvania Railroad. This is a 12x32 layout. I f u had more folding money and room i would love to do Proto 48 O scale. I think that is so neat and full of detail.

Wonderful read. I really enjoyed your write up and glad you kept going with this and not stopped this thread early on.
What is the story with the Boston and Maine O scale car? Do you have a layout? I build HO trains but do Lionel at Christmas.

Funny I literally just finished my first engine. It is the PM research 2a little wobbler. I bought it in 03 and with a little time learning and tool gathering i was able to get it running correctly. If I had to do it again i would have bought the little machine shop wobbler. This is done with...
What about Keith Appleton. I enjoy his model engineering videos a lot. I guess that is why I still like Tubal Cain because that is one of his focus. Most of those other guys that you mention that I am familiar with rarely dabble with true model engineering as I like it.
I like MyFordBoy but really wish he would talk in his videos. There are times i would like more explanation than what he does with the sub titles. There fore i don't watch him as much as others.
Being Disneyland I'm guessing you are talking about the California one? You might want to try contacting someone at the Los Angeles Live Steamers. They have a lot of information on Walt's live steam collection as well as history of the things in the park. Is the pick axe oversize or is is normal...
