evening all I own a warco gh1440 lathe which has a 14 inch swing grizzly sell the same machine I think it is Manufacturedby Central machinery, and am looking to fit a qctp to the lathe, the ones I'm looking at are supplied in a medium and large medium suits 10-15 inch swing and large 13-18, now...

just got in from shed and tried again with flycutting before i tried putting a lathe tool stlye angle on it this time i just used the hss square as it comes out the packet and got better results strange ill try the shape of that tool in the pic tin cheers for the help guys Rich

hi im having trouble flycutting aluminium with it leaving a very heavy machine marks i think the problem is the shape of the hss tool, does any one know what sort of angles should be ground on it /shape all help appreciated Rich
