    Newbie from NZ

Another Napier dweller here. Purchased my first lathe when I was 14 and have been tinkering ever since, mainly steam engines but planning on building an IC engine one day when I get the time. Working more on cars these days but the lathe still gets the occasional job. Cheers, Nicolas

It has been down for the past 20 hours for me. Two days ago I got the "too many processes" a few times. Then is worked for an hour or two. And now it just says "error, site not found"

    Marklin Hot Air Engine

That seems like a reasonable price, there's one on ebay in Germany for around that much. If you want some definite answers you may want to go to the unofficial mamod and other steam forum, that's where all the toy steam experts live. Good luck.

    Is This Safe?-Brand new Newbie

Are you interested in only steam engines or stirling engines too? You can make a coke can stirling engine from scrap with no machine tools, I haven't had any luck with one yet (only had 2 attempts so far) but it might be of interest to you, if it doesn't work you haven't lost anything (except...

    QCTP for Myford lathe

I didn't have many other options sitting here in New Zealand, I could in port a super 7 B but that would cost a fortune. I am very happy with my lathe, I think I got a very good deal. If I ever get the chance to buy a good super 7 I will take it. If you dislike QCTP's that's okay, but don't go...
