Your work is an inspiration to me as I work on completing the Howell V2. My ultimate goal model engine would be the Hodgson radial. Don't know if I will ever get there but it will be fun trying. Great job.
Thank you for a very enjoyable thread. I am currently 95% finished with a Howell V twin. Your comments about valve testing and lapping coincide exactly with my experience. It's good to know I am not the only one who doesn't get a perfect valve seal. I am going to try the 1200 grit lapping...
