    Here is the bearing dropped in place... next up to build is the top cap.

    Drilled and countersunk to attach to the base... The lower portion supports the inner bearing race, the outer will move freely when attached.

    Added this today... The small stock knob was cumbersome and made my fingers ache. I took a generic spinner knob and another old lathe handle, and modified everything to work. Getting much better results out of the 109. tightening up nice. Learning too... ;)

    As far as the motor/pulleys... I have a 1/4 horse 1725 rpm Leland electric motor. Smooth and quiet. It has a 4 stack pulley mounted to the shaft, as follows: 1",1.25",1.75",2.25" (It looks like the smallest was never used.) An odd thing happened (when it was mounted on the original plate it...
