I cant see why you couldn't DOL the motor. If you wanted you a 2 speed it would need a star delta set up .

You will have to change the motor and replace the power supply to the controls

I just bought a hobbyking pulse jet. Have not started it yet but from the specs has only 3 lbs of thrust. These have heaps more thrust. Thanks for the video Erik

Thanks Again The cam shaft is bent and I cant go any further till I repair it and Loctite it this time. I may change the ignition to one that doesn't auto advance. I will let you know how I go when I finish the repairs Erik
