    Power feed motor

    The specs on the gearhead motor is 500ma, 24 VDC, and 30 inch pound of torque, and 300rpm. I will be hooking this to a DPDT switch, and a PWM circuit. I don't know if this motor will have enough torque to turn the screw on the x axis. This will be going on a Harbor freight x2 mini mill...

    emachineshop software

    I have it on my computer also. I believe the dimensions are transmitted to them to produce your part. It is not a typical cad program.

    Where does one get training to run a CNC mini mill. I have searched the web, and found many books, but there geared for the student that is enrolled in an engineering course. I am a hobby machinist, and not looking to get a job in the machine shop field. Any help will be greatly appreciated...

    bearings

    Hi, I would like to hear from people that have replaced the bearings in the x2 mini mill. Do I need any special tools, presses etc. If you have done this upgrade I would like to know. Thanks in advance.
