Used to repair boats, then built boats and then started doing mostly prototype and first run production boats. Worked as a commercial diesel mechanic/rebuilder for some years: the big 3 story tall ship engines, mostly "J" type but plenty of conventional.
Certifications in CAD and Rapid prototyping.
Grew up in a motorsports family. Raced snowmobiles some. Lots of dirt biking/4wheelers. Primarily always been a motorcycle or bicycle commuter. Have ridden many thousands of miles on two wheels.
Wife and I love to go on adventures of all kinds. Sailing has been a big focus of our life for the last 10 years or so, but recently started developing some rural and mountainous property for ourselves.
Recently rebuilt a 1963 Case 188D diesel with the wife on the side of a mountain with no vehicle access. haha
