I figured out that my rings were not making 100% contact with the sleeve, so I made a small lap and honed the OD of the rings until they were shiny --and lo and behold it runs like a champ. I can't get my maytag model to fire. once in a while it will hit, not long enough to adjust anything, I am using old model t buzz coil- seems to put out enough spark. have compression bounce, plug seems to foul immediately and have to use new one, then it will hit a couple times. What am I doing...
