One undocumented change is in the head. I bored shallow pockets to install hardened valve seats (press fit) with a steeper seat angle than shown in the model. Valves were lapped in with 600 grit Clover Compound. Extra tapped holes were added in the base for mounting. Oil ports were added to the...

Thanks for the compliments. I am really glad it has turned out well. I am still working on mounting, fuel tank, usb charger and lights. I started using a vaporizer style fuel tank. It has stabilized the running, but lacks instantaneous demand for changing load conditions. I still may make the...

Next Video. The little piece of shop towel is a temporary choke. I am not having very good luck with the carburetor. I am going to give the Jerry Howell carburetor a try.

I have had a number of minor setbacks along the way, but I finally got it to run. Between valve seating, carburetor issues, and timing problems it took a while to narrow in to get it going. There is still a lot of details and mounting to take care.

Hello, Thanks for interacting with me. LOL Iv'e been waiting for questions. I did turn the crank from solid on a manual lathe. It was turned between centers. I started with a bar of 4140 pre-hard. Cutting it close to length, then squared the ends and brought the length to size in a mill. I...
