just a few simple questions here about boilers. first off, a boiler is filled with water that creates steam and pressure and used to power small steam engines right? as it seems most of them are heated with a small gas burner, or if they're small enough, can they be heated with one of those...

thank you!! its pretty easy. we've got a bench buffer/grinder, and it has two 12" pads for buffing. and it does it quick. specially with how nice the surface finishes are that im getting to begin with

more progress today. i turned the crank wheel and the flywheel. pics tomorrow. another question, on the flywheel it has the cutouts in it, the .125 deep that goes to the center and 2 inches out. is that necessary or is that more of a looks thing?

now if i could have someone's help here. looking at page three(cylinder) the hole that is .250" deep and .875" from the bottom. what diameter is that? is that the hole that the screw goes in with the spring that holds the cylinder to the upright? that needs to be drilled .188-.193? and does it...
