This is an updated version of my carburetor design. It is simple to build and works well with engines from 3/4" up to 1" bore. It's easily scalable for larger or smaller engines.

Thanks for posting this. I've been a tool maker for years but would like to try building a couple of engines. I hope I'll have the patients to complete them.
 
I like your carburator design and plan on making a larger version for a hit -n-miss engine I am in the early stages of machining. It has a bore of 1.500".
Will it make sense to go 50% larger on the internals based on bore size difference? Or larger?
