I've tried to read the sony millman lh30 manual,
but can't make much sense out of it,
(I'm a former software engineer, so I'm used to lousy manuals,
but this one takes the cake, and that's all I'm gonna say)
here's what I want to do,
set the Y-axis zero on the edge of my mill vise (back, fixed, jaw),
temporarily set the Y-axis zero somewhere else and make motions relative to this temporary zero,
(FYI, this is usually the centerline of something in the vise)
then return the Y-axis zero back to being on the edge of my vise
is there any way to do that with its user-interface ?
or am I stuck with writing down the offset to/from the temporary zero location on a piece of paper ?
TIA,
Peter A Lawrence.
