In the pursuit of knowledge on 3-d printers I found myself on you tube.
For you electron heads out there you may want to look at some of the videos of the Ben Heck show. the most notable project was the 3-D printer in a brief case.

The other maker of note is Jimmy Deresta. He has a bunch of videos on various make projects that may be of interest to some here. The one that caught my eye was the pirates chest. But he made a new handle for a camp hatchet and made his own tool bag. The guy is talented and has a well equipped shop. The videos are sped up so lots of visual info in a short period of time. If you need narrative sorry it is not there. IMHO worth a look.

Quite fascinating ! A lot of good technique there.
