Took the little snippet
"laststep = round(stepsDiv * lastPosition);
nextstep = round(stepsDiv * currentPosition);
divSteps = abs(nextstep - laststep);"
from Chuck Fellows RT program, wrapped it with a NES Controller,
a 20x4 LCD, menu one for divisions, one for degrees, variable step rate.
mounted a little 3" RT to an angle Plate, attached a little Taig chuck. . .
Ya way too much free time...
Gave it a try and Poof, cut a hex. Definitely needs a tail-stock support but that's for another day.
Had to skew the RT to the angle plate as plate, well more of a case of working with what is laying around. It seems to work, cut 6 which is a go over of cut one was clean. What to do with it? Something will come up, it was fun to do...
