Hi All Aussie Bruce here

I found this site while investigating some plans and what a nice place it is

I have a few steam engines under my belt and just starting on a new flash steam engine project so i thought i would join in if its okay ;D

Yep my name is Bruce and i am an ex fitter and turner / Gunmaker. I know work as a Engineering officer doing cad / tooling design and also a manufacturing controller

I have the usuall list of suspects IE AL330 geared head lathe and an RF30 drill mill at home etc etc

Any way just feeling my way around at the moment

Best Regards Bruce

Thanks guys for the warm welcome

There us a few of us Aussies here hey mates.

Yep i was a gunmaker but only on 40mm calibre and above, ie 76mm 105mm etc etc.

It was very interesting taking a forged billet 20 foot long and turning it into a barrell.

Thanks guys

Bruce

Best Regards
Bob
