Hi,
I've noticed when I use my mill there are a couple of tight spots on the table feeds.
From what I've read here I'm guessing there are a few burs and in there that need cleaning off but I've never dismantled anything like this before.

Does anyone have any hints / tips or photos on how I should disassemble the table and any traps I need to be careful of?

Thanks

tmuir,

I took my table off to install a 20 threads per inch lead screw. I wrote it up on my web site HERE.

Any questions contact me through the usual channels.

Regards,
Bernd

Thanks,

I'll have a read of that tonight and then decide if I'm brave enough to pull it apart.

I took apart my Micro Mill with absolutely no experience in doing so. It went back together easily. There aren't really any small pieces to worry about within the table, just pay attention to the order of the disassembly and you'll have no problems.
