I post on three different forums. I have been using Image Shack for the past two years with very few problems. Now my pictures are not showing up on this forum. Is there something that had changed on this forum? My pictures always showed up fine until two weeks ago.---Brian Rupnow

I just created a free trial Image shack account and posted a picture - I can see it, can anyone else?

Brian - can I ask what account type you have with Image shack (Basic/Pro/Premium)? I ask because on their FAQ they list this:

    Does ImageShack allow direct linking?
Yes, ImageShack premium subscribers and free trial users are able to access direct links.

So it seems that only premium members can direct link their images. This may be a recent change and is very similar to the change Photobucket made that started this whole picture hosting fiasco. If you do have a 'Premium' account (and assuming others can see my image above) then I'm out of ideas and will have to defer to the techs'.

Edit to add: I looked up their pricing plans and all the account levels list Direct Linking as a feature, so either their FAQ is wrong, or they have recently changed their plan structures to remove direct linking for most of them. That's a question I can't answer either...
