Viton O-Rings

Well I've having some problems with my Henry Fords Kitchen Sink Engine and about to try Viton O rings instead of the CI Rings. I didn't realise the different applications and colour codes for Viton.
What is recommended for piston rings ?.

I used FPM Viton
This seal of FPM material can be used at temperatures ranging from -20 C to + 200 C.
FPM seals are resistant to heat, aggressive mineral oils, atmospheric agents, petroleum products (hydrocarbons), aliphatic and aromatic solvents, diluted acids and bases, strong acids, and have good gas impermeability and poor resistance to cetonic solvents, brake fluids (ether and glycol), and hydraulic fluids that are difficult to ignite.
The FPM material seals resist flame well, remanent good deformation. Moderate tensile strength, tearing and abrasion resistance, and poor resistance to flexion.
