I dont think so. Its a very old, round colum mill with antique electronics. The old round form steppers are MUCH slower than modern stuff.

You could buy the mill for $1k, and all the electronics for less than $1k.

I would not take it as a gift.

If you wanted a ready to run package about that size Id look at a KX3 from Little Machine Shop or Harbor Freight.
