Hi everyone
Here are some pics and a link to a video of my latest engine
Its basically an enlaged version of the Vega designed by David Parker
My engine has a 23mm bore and 20mm stroke
I finished this some time ago but it steadfastly refused to run, I dug it out and tried to work out why
What I discovered was the inlet passages were too wide and long so no fuel was being drawn in. I made the inlet you see here this weekend and fitted a small carb from a commercial engine and bingo, off she went
I think this carb is a bit on the small side so I will make a new manifold for a slightly larger carb and seee what happens
As always comments or suggestions welcome

Very nice.
A nice pair of twin carbs with bellmouths crossing over in the middle of the V would look the business on that.
