Here is my engine project for the next four months:
When I was 15, an old man in my neighborhood gave me this engine because he believed that one day I would fix it and enjoy it. Today is the day that I start. When I got it, the old man said that his sewer had backed up at one point and the engine was heavily damaged from being tossed around in his basement over the years. The old man told me that he got the engine from his father's old friend, and that it was about one hundred years old.
The engine has no identification markings on it, though it looks similar to British engines such as the Stuarts. Feel free to message me if you figure out what it is. I couldn't buy parts for an unidentified engine, so my friend has repaired some of the parts for me.
Any hints, tips or suggestions are welcomed. I am planning on rebuilding the wooden base, painting the engine, and hard piping the plumbing.
