Anyone out there ever tried to model the Uhler engine shown on page 517 of Wendel’s American Gasoline Engine book ?

I was thinking of offsetting the connecting rods. I used to have a Hanover cycle car engine. It was a 76 cube 45 degree V twin IOE engine, the cylinders were inline but the rods were side by side on a single crank pin, the rods were bent in a dog leg to line up with the cylinders.

That link took me to something called media fire where they wanted me to sign up, the last time I signed into a link I started getting an extra charge on my phone bill.

Just don't sign in. The download is free, you don't have to sign in to anything. Media-Fire is a free hosting site. You may have to work you way past some stupid advertisements, but just don't sign in to anything. If you can't make it work, send me an email at [email protected] and I will download it and send you the files.---Brian
