The first of these was the second I/C engine I made. I had bought a copy of the drawings for the 'Morton M5' and this engine is based on that design.

I learned a lot from that project.

The second engine 'JEMMA' was the first engine I drew from scratch. It was an attempt to design my own radial and at the same time learn to use a cad programme (Turbocad , free with a computer mag).

Nice to know you are the designer of JEMMA. I started that when it first appeared in SIC. I thought it was the best proportioned radial design. I have the crankcase and crank shaft done, and made a run at the cam with my CNC mill, but the metal I used and tool left a horrible surface finish. I have the parts on a shelf, the plan is right here on my desk and I would really like to get back to it. One of the fellows in the New England MES finished one and has shown it at our shows.

Your work is really outstanding, thanks for sharing.
