I'm having real trouble building this flywheel - any suggestions where to start?

I dont how you would make it but you'll have a hell of a job getting it on the shaft afterwards. ;D ;D

That's what you get for trying to build an engine designed by MC Escher ;D
 
Gotta say, whoever drew that up was pretty talented. Wonder how cad / cam software would handle that???

No trouble at all if you use a bifurcated 90° l/h arbour.

If you figure it out could you make one for me. It's all I need to get my steam cycle on the road. Here's what I've got so far:
