Hi All,
It's been nearly 20 years since I had use of a lathe to turn a thread. My home lathes had no option for thread turning. This is my first go at it after all this time on my new lathe. It's a 25 x 1 mm thread for an oil tank filler.

Cheers
Andrew

I find that you can sometimes get suitable plumbing fittings at your local hardware store that can
be machined down
Yes, I have used them many times in the past. This one is a lot different to plumbing fittings
