There is such a wealth of information on this forum. I often see a great tip or technique and later on find myself saying "oh yeah, that was in so and so's thread about such and such" Then I will find the thread and look for the page where the information is stored.

The point is that some of the threads can be in excess of 50 pages and I can't see the option to jump to a certain page. I only see previous, next and a spread of pages near the one I am currently viewing.

Is this an option that could possibly be added?

Thank you.

With a bit of math and some web page address bar editing you can land on the page you want.
There are 15 replies per page and each reply has a reply number.

George's transmission thread's first page has the link address below
http://www.homemodelenginemachinist.com/index.php?topic=10424.0
Notice the topic number in blue and the reply number in red.
If I want to go directly to the 4th page I just change the reply number to 10424.45 in the address bar of my browser and hit enter.

Page 1 = .0 to .14
page 2 = .15 to .29
Page 3 = .30 to .44
Page 4 = .45 to .59
and so on

Page number * 15 will get you there.

Any reply number in that page range will take you to that page, not just the reply.

There, that's clear as mud. ;D

Cheers,
Phil
