I got an email (personal mail system) saying my mailbox is too full and need to delete some.
First time in I saw a delete check, checked 50 messages, and hit the delete.
Not sure now if anything happened but the delete check box is gone and I have no idea how to delete mail.

How do I delete some/all my mail?

Deleting messages one at a time is too time consuming. I can select 50 at a time but can't do anything with that selection.
Also, I haven't figured out how to move messages to other folders so I can empty them.
Either the functionality is missing or its not intuitive. It should be easy easy.

Zee: Check all the message you wish to delete, and at the bottom, under the messages, is a drop down box on the right. it defaults to "Move selected to..." ... Change it to Delete, and click Go beside it.

    Thanks Rayanth.
I would have preferred not to have two related actions separated so far apart. But oh well.

    Austin,
This question has been asked at least twice but so far no answer.

I can edit any post I made after the software change but I can not edit any post I made before the software change.

The reason I am asking about this is because I maintain the first post of the US State Boiler code thread with new information or repair bad links.
    http://www.homemodelenginemachinist.com/f42/us-state-boiler-code-8141/

I would like to be able to continue to keep the thread up to date as new information is reported as this is a very handy resource for hobby boiler builders in the US.

Please let us know what is going on about this issue.

    Regards
    Dan Rowe

    Dan

I can understand your concern regarding this post. If for any reason Austin is unable to permit you to edit that post please get in touch with myself or one of the other mods and we will help you make the necessary updates.

I fully agree that this is a very handy resource for hobby boiler builders in the US and around the world for that matter.

    Cheers :)

That works, but I think we were more interested in just having each reply's title default to "Re: <Original Post Title>" -- we've always had it that way in the past.

On the top left is a search bar. Click the drop down menu to find the mark forums read button.

Playing devil's advocate here, but, Austin... that is TOTALLY not obvious, and I would have never clicked that down arrow until you just mentioned it. Why would I think that 'search' next to a search box, would have a drop down with anything other than search-related options?

Where would be a better UI place to put it in your opinion. Under the My Account drop down?

    Footer?

Drop down under New Posts perhaps?

AND as a button at the top of both the New Posts *page* and Today's posts *page*

(note, this would take care of one of the items on the List I maintain of issues)
