I am breaking this off as a locked sticky that way folks do not have to read through the discussion to see the bottom line I think this will keep us on the same page so to speak.
Here is what I see so far
Brass_Machine- 6 sets Piston /Cylinder/flange/Wrist pin (6)
Bob_Warfield - Brass fly wheels & con rods
TattooMike68 -Crank shaft . crank disc, crank screws
Powder Keg - Columns 4-40 internal thread w/ bling
Jadecy 6 ea bearing blocks
Zeusrekenining - 6 sets Piston /Cylinder/flange/Wrist pin (6)
Gilesm - bases- plus wood sub base
Tin Falcon -reversing valve, Reversing valve stud
Joe D - 6 bearing blocks
Deer-x475guy - steam connector /
Piping w/ flange

Just to keep folks up to speed here this is the first ever HMEM team build. the plan is for Ten people to build twelve engines one for each member , one for display at a museum or travel to ME shows and one for auction /raffle benefactor to be determined but will be some sort of non profit organization possibly this board. The build time is three months Beginning of April -end of June 2008. the selected engine plans are Elmer Versburg's Open column w/reverse. The team captains for the build are Tin Falcon and Brass_machine. As the build begins each member will post photos of there work and progress. At the end parts will be exchanged and the engines assembled.
