hello all i dont really post much because of beening novice. anyway after three years of study and tooling up ive finished to projects and working on a few more before i jump into an ic engine. one is a knurling tool for my taig and the secons is a compound slide for my taig.

Nicely done indeed. I like the integration of a QCTP into the compound slide. Looking at your work I really have to start putting more effort into “finishing” my projects, beautifully done.

If you haven’t seen them Dean Williams has a nice site with projects and tooling around the Taig http://www.deansphotographica.com/machining/projects/projects.html as well as The Engineman at http://modelengines.info/lathes/taig.html. Keith Brooke has a cool/simple thread cutting attachment with a nicely detailed build http://www.cartertools.com/brooketh.html. Though some of the mods might be a little extreme. Keep up the great work and please keep posting.

thanks i get alot of ideas from deans site plus i look at a lotta other designs, and sometimes incorporate them together. the engine mans site is good also. thanks again
