Hi can anybody help, is it possible to take still photos from Quicktime movie, if so what software do i need.

Easy If you are using Vista use the snipping tool found in the accessories menu.

Or use one of the free screen capture programmes that are around

Or print screen and then use picasa (free from Google) to crop the image.

I never new i had that tool.

If you pause video just hold alt key and press print screen.
When you hold alt key it will capture current active window to clipboard if you want your whole screen just the print screen then paste into a paint file.
