Hey guys
I salvaged a nice little stepper motor from Zebra label printer. Seems like about the right size for a A axis does anyone have a good safe effective method for sorting out the wiring I used the ohm meter to figure witch pairs go together but how do I know the A side and B side or the /A /B. I do not want to send up magic smoke. I did some google looking for tech data but so far not what I need. Any Ideas.

Doesn't matter.
As long as you have two A's and 2 B's that's all that counts, assuming a 4 wire motor.

yes 4 wire system so i can just hook up one pair as A and the other pair as B an not worry about any polarity issues ?

John: seemed like too easy and answer but did a temp hookup with the wires as you said moor runs fine and no smoke so thanks although very belated.
