Most people use Dorman vacuum fittings. You can get them at an auto parts store. I'm not at my computer or I could post a picture with the part number and instructions on where to trim them.

I don't know if Roy has any of his clear ones left as he is scaling down the business but they are nice and compact so don't look clumsy on a model.

About time someone started 3D printing these in one of the flexible filaments

I have been playing around with 3D printing them using TPU filament. I have made usable boots but I still have to do some more playing around and I presently have a problem with my printer. Bad heat sensor.

I made my own using 2 part silicon I got on amazon. Made a die set and they came out pretty good.

The only thing I did not like was the color. In this post I added black chalk before mixing

It would be nice to find the 2 part mix in black but I could not.

Generic search for Mold making silicone on Amazon

The stuff I used was a thick putty not a liquid. About the same consistency as chewed chewing gum. mixed easy ans set up in a few minutes.

I've done that several years ago. They work well. Printed the entire distributor less the shaft and conacts.

The following website sells the spark plug boots. microcosm-engine.com/
When you get to the website search for sparp plug protective covers. The price is $18 for 12 boots. If you have them sent the cheapest way, the package will take about 30 days to get to you.

The website will only bring up the items if you use the words: spark plug protection cap.

It does not say what size plug it fits. Since they list a 1/4-32 I assume that it will fit that size.
